Effort and Result
Effort and Result are two very distinct intentions. Some people talk of effort. As an example a person may say: “I tried to reach 10 people today.” Others speak from accomplishment; example: I reached 10 people today. In other words doing what is required to reach the outcome. How to fix a broken wheel?
One of my favorite songs is on the radio. My voice rings out with creativity and resonance, all the time thinking I sound better than I actually do. I don’t care. Do you know why? It’s because my creative mind is engaged. Life is good and the sun is shining. As I arrive home I’m feeling peace and calm for the evening ahead. Getting home is always a good thing. Pulling into my driveway the garage door opens on command. As the door ascends, I see something looming in front of me; like it has for so many months before. …
